Bio

Tracy is the CLEAR Center’s Senior Content Writer and Media Strategist.

A storyteller at heart, Tracy’s career in the communication industry has taken her all over California, reporting on the bounty and beauty of the state. She began her career working in local news in Sacramento and then went onto work for the California Farm Bureau Federation on their weekly consumer-facing T.V. show, “California Bountiful.” Tracy was the Executive Producer and Host of the nationally syndicated and award-winning show for nearly 20 years. While there, she also wrote stories and took photos for the companion magazine, which was also targeted towards a consumer audience interested in understanding where their food comes from.

One of her favorite parts about working at the California Farm Bureau Federation was telling the stories of the farmers and ranchers and putting a face to the people producing the food we enjoy every day. Tracy felt honored to tell their unique stories every week on the show as she educated viewers across the country on what it really takes for California farmers and ranchers to get food from their farms and ranches to our tables.

A Bay Area native, Tracy moved to Sacramento for college and hasn’t looked back since. When not telling the stories of the CLEAR Center, you’ll find her cheering (loudly) for her favorite sports teams, hiking through the foothills or catching the latest movie in theaters.
